How to use

  1. Drop a CSV or paste the table.
  2. Set the pattern, the target column and the mode (filter rows / add a column / build a list).
  3. Press Run, review the matches, then download.

What this tool does not do

Matches must fit inside a single cell. Lookbehind patterns do not work in some older browsers. An invalid pattern shows an error instead of guessing.

FAQ

Any ready-made patterns?
Email: [\w.+-]+@[\w-]+\.[\w.-]+ · URL: https?://[^\s]+ · Japanese phone: 0\d{1,4}-?\d{1,4}-?\d{3,4}.
What does the list mode do?
It drops the rows and returns just the matched values as a one-column CSV; enable dedupe for a unique list.
Can I keep only matching rows?
Yes — choose the filter mode and the output contains only rows with at least one match.
Is the search case-sensitive?
By default yes; turn on “ignore case” to relax it.
Is my data uploaded?
No, extraction is local.
